Charter Boat - UPHOLDER The upholder is the largest, fastest, and longest established charter boat working out of Amble. The Upholder is an offshore 105 which has been re-engined with a brand new Daewoo 360 hp for the forth coming season. The UPHOLDER has an MCA code cat4 license for 12 persons. The Upholder is fully equipped with the latest electronics for wreck location and navigation. The vessel has a slave hauler for anchoring up over wrecks or uptiding. Skipper - DAVE BUILTH Being the longest established charter skipper working out of Amble I have a good working knowledge of reef, wreck, and rough ground fishing with the experience to place the boat in the right place at the right time. I have been a member of the AMBLE LIFEBOAT CREW for the last 12 years. During my service with the RNLI I have gained the following certificates, RYA YACHTMASTER certificate of competence. RNLI navigation and S.A.R course, RNLI navigation course, RNLI Radar and Electonic Navigation course, RNLI Radar Observer course, RNLI Certificate of First Aid, RNLI/British Red cross first aid certificate. RNLI SEA SURVIVAL/FIRE FIGHTING/FIRST AID cert, Long Range/VHF GMDSS radio operators certificates.
