Charter Boat - RAZORBILL Razorbill is a fast starfish 8 meter, she is fitted with a 246hp styer turbo diesel which gives an impressive cruising speed of around 18knts! She is licensed for 6 people and can be booked as either a party, as an individual or as a small party due to an affordable price for the whole boat. Skippers - Stuart and Scott Belbin Stuart has been fishing from Mersea for about 45 years and has been in the coastguard and life boat for about 35 years. He was well known for his large catches of cod and ling on the Essex wrecks in the late 80's and early 90's. Scott has owned boats since he was 11 and been fishing since he was only 18 months old! He is probably one of the youngest charter skippers at only 19! We also have free parking at the top of this pontoon. If the weather is uncomfortable to fish off shore we also have lots of shelter provided by the numerous sand banks and the river blackwater which in itself provides some good fishing. However when we can we venture off shore in search of any better fishing or as suits the party on the day.
